Beyond Line-Of-Sight Communication The 3rd generation EXPLORER Mobile Gateway is an AES-256 encrypted data communications device designed for use in a vehicle. It is an advanced IP-based radio and data gateway that integrates Land Mobile Radio (LMR) devices with satellite / LAN backhaul to provide seamless switching between available networks in any situation.

It is completely radio brand agnostic and designed to expand and augment LMR systems already in use in Public Safety, Utility, Mining, and Oil & Gas. The solution extends legacy Push-To-Talk radio capabilities to hybrid data networks such as terrestrial cellular networks, supplemented by satellite where no terrestrial network coverage is available.

With no user intervention required, the system automatically routes voice and data traffic via the most reliable network available.

The EXPLORER 323 is an ultra-compact BGAN terminal for voice and data communication on-the-move, a perfect match for PRISM PTT+

Whether you’re engaged in humanitarian operations, cargo or rail transportation, telemedicine or emergency services, you need easily deployable communication equipment you can always rely on.

Instant communication
Simply place the terminal on the roof – it is easily mounted with optional magnetic mounts – and connect your phone to the EXPLORER app or log onto the wireless network with your PC to turn the vehicle into a mobile communication hub.

No moving parts
The beam switching antenna is ultra compact and lightweight (just 3.9 kg / 8.5 lbs), ideal for vehicles or trains on-the-move. It is designed for robust and durable use with no moving parts.
