The SHOUT sp is an Iridium smartphone that combines Iridium tracking/messaging with an Android-powered Iridium smartphone.
The SHOUT sp device comprises a Touchscreen, a Power button, a Status LED, a guarded Emergency button, and a USB-C port.
It supports Iridium’s short burst data (SBD), SMS, voice calls, push-to-talk (PTT), and data/voice hotspot capability.
The Touchscreen is a capacitive touchscreen, and detects touch by fingers only. It does not detect input by a gloved
The SHOUT sp is a revolutionary Iridium Connected device that combines Iridium tracking and messaging of the SHOUT product line with Iridium phone capability using an Android interface.
The SHOUT sp is built specifically for the Iridium NEXT network and features Iridium Short Burst Data (SBD), SMS, and voice calls. For customers on Iridium’s commercial gateway, global Push-to-Talk (PTT) is also available.
The SHOUT sp is comprised of a touchscreen display, status LED lights, a guarded emergency button, an Iridium antenna, and a USB-C port.
The touchscreen allows easy access to device features and the USB-C enables charging, firmware updates, and device configuration.
The LED displays the device status when enabled or may be turned off for more tactical environments.
The SHOUT sp is the perfect tool for your mission, especially in remote environments with no cellular coverage when communication is a must and knowing your personnel’s location is critical.
