This line of Iridium docking stations are the perfect solution for overcoming a satellite phone’s inability to work inside a building, vehicle, or vessel.

How it Works

Bring your satellite communications indoors with the ASE docking station.
Once connected to an Iridium antenna with line-of-sight to the satellite constellation, you are ready to send and receive voice and data using your docked Iridium 9555.
The ASE DK050 Docking Station can be used with the 9555 speaker-phone – or with the corded intelligent handset (purchased separately).
Installation is simple because the ASE docking station has all the advanced circuitry integrated into the single-piece docking cradle.
Mount the dock, connect the antenna, dock your 9555, and you are done.
For marine vessels, a common installation involves installing the docking station near the bridge with the corded intelligent handset in close proximity to the captain.
The corded handset(not included) can be cabled up to 6 meters away from the docking station to minimize the equipment footprint on valuable bridge space.

The DK075 is a refined docking station for the Iridium 9555 phone/handset.
Elegant in appearance, it is often chosen for executive offices or the bridge of a sophisticated yacht.
It is also at home inside a remote control room.
This docking station is singular and powerful in its use and function, working immediately out of the box with minimal installation required.
It performs extremely well at bringing the Iridium network inside and connecting to any analog phone or Private Branch Exchange (PBX)

Fast Deployment in case of Emergency

There is a very positive rotating lock that mechanically captures the 9555 Phone securely and provides robust electrical connections to the phone’s base connector.
This connection keeps the Iridium 9555 fully charged for use anytime inside the building, or in those instances where the staff is leaving the building to grab the phone out of the docking station and remain connected anywhere on earth.
For the more technically curious, the USB connector is “Pass-through” allowing you to externally connect to a “back-up” email service or other specialized applications without any hindrances.

RJ11 Connect (ASE-DK075 only) – Connects to an analog phone (single or PBX) including multi-handset wireless phones. Use of a cordless phone with expandable handsets can provide up to eight units within a two-mile range (unobstructed) from the base station.

Handset Connect – Corded Intelligent Handset (optional) offers a convenient wall-mount privacy Handset with audio enhancement circuitry to provide excellent voice quality.

USB-Connect – USB port for data connections including Internet connection with Direct Internet 2.0.

Built-In Charger – Keeps handset fully charged for immediate use when un-docked.

Real-time System Status Indicators – Large Icons allow status viewing from 25′.

Innovative Features

Smart Dialing – The Docking Station knows the correct format for the country that is being dialed and places the call once the number is entered. Smart Dialing eliminates the superfluous “00” IDD code (no more international dialing sequence).

Simple Operation – The Docking Station combines clear LED status lights with the Iridium handset’s graphical display for setup, troubleshooting, programming, and operation.

Base Station Ringer – Audible ringing to alert of incoming calls.

Versatile Power Input – 9 – 36 VDC input range supports power systems on most vehicles and vessels. An included universal power adapter allows 100 – 240VAC, 47 – 63 Hz operation. A DC Vehicle adapter is also included.

Antenna Options – Can be used with many antennas, including fixed-mast, mobile fixed-mount, and mobile magnetic-mount models.
