The Barrett 4050 RFDS is a rapidly deployable option for field personnel with the unit being operational within minutes.
Its highly ruggedized exterior allows this system to be transported over rough terrain with no damage being taken by the interior equipment.
The front and rear lids allow for quick and efficient access to the system making it suitable for field or station requirements.
The RFDS 4050 provides interoperability between HF and UHF/ VHF networks with the incorporation of the Barrett 2062 Crossgate.
This allows for communication over both long (HF) and short distances (UHF/VHF) extending the functionality of both.
