ELLIPSE-D SBG Systems IMU and RTK GNSS Inertial Sensor for Navigation
ELLIPSE-D SBG Systems INS series, IMU and RTK GNSS, Inertial Sensor for Navigation
Compact and Robust Inertial Sensors for Reliable Navigation
Ellipse-D is the smallest Inertial Navigation System with integrated Dual-antenna RTK GNSS receiver for accurate Heading. It provides Roll, Pitch, Heading, Heave, and Navigation data.
Typical Application:
UAV-based Mapping, Boat & Buoy Motion Monitoring, Car Motion Monitoring, Antenna Tracking
Features:
- Ellipse-D has been designed to offer a compact and cost-effective solution when accurate heading is required.
- The dual antenna heading overcomes typical magnetic calibration issues.
- Allows the Ellipse-D to be used in applications where the magnetic field is not reliable.
- This model integrates a Survey-grade L1/L2 GNSS receiver with two antennas for unmatched heading and position accuracy.
The Ellipse INS series combines Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) with GNSS and external sensors using our advanced fusion algorithm, delivering accurate position and orientation, even in challenging environments.
The Ellipse-D is an inertial navigation system integrating a dual antenna and dual frequency RTK GNSS that is compatible with our Post-Processing software Qinertia.
Designed for robotic and geospatial applications, it can fuse Odometer input with Pulse or CAN OBDII for enhanced dead-reckoning accuracy.
Ellipse-D includes a MEMS-based Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and runs an enhanced Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) which fuses inertial and GNSS data. Odometer and DGPS can be used as aiding inputs to further enhance the navigation solution.
