How It Works
The GeoPro™ solution is a complete remote workforce safety, emergency management, and productivity solution comprised of a rugged satellite text messaging device with integrated GPS, and a secure hosted web application.
GeoPro Messenger device is a rugged handheld device that uses an embedded Iridium SBD modem for over the air (OTA) communication with the Iridium® satellite (SBD) network. It enables two-way global messaging with other email, mobile phone or GeoPro Messenger users and features a dedicated emergency button, on-screen keyboard, and a range of safety, check-in, messaging, tracking and waypoint applications for improved productivity.
The GeoPro Web Application runs in a robust hosted (SaaS) environment that’s secure, reliable and fast. GeoPro leverages the Internet’s ubiquity to provide browser-based access to a wide range of employee safety and communication features, monitoring windows and configuration tools. It uses ESRI ArcGIS® Web Mapping for online mapping, providing users with real-time visibility of remote workers’ status and location anywhere on earth in a graphical web-based map. The GeoPro solution is ArcGIS 10 enabled.

GeoPro™ is a robust workforce safety and emergency management solution designed to address employers’ concerns about the safety and productivity of remote personnel. GeoPro is comprised of GeoPro Messenger, a rugged text messaging device with built-in safety, location and productivity features, and an enterprise web application that improves management’s oversight of employee location and status, and is easy to set up and align with internal practices.
GeoPro Two-Way Messaging
• Communicate anywhere on earth with two-way text messaging up to 160 characters
• Employees can select from predefi ned messages, or use the on screen keyboard to create
their own messages or append predefi ned messages
• Message other email, cellular phone or GeoPro users
Emergency Management
• Employees can use the dedicated emergency button to call for help
• The GeoPro Web Application automatically requests confi rmation to ensure against false
alarms
• Escalation rules designate who is notifi ed if there is a confi rmed emergency
• Designated response teams are immediately alerted via email, SMS and the GeoPro Web
Application interface
• Emergency and at-risk users are easily identifi ed and searchable in the map interface

Monitor Check-In
• Easily monitor employee status and location
• Manage failed check-in incidents based on business rules
• Employee check-ins can be scheduled or on demand
• Escalation rules designate who is notifi ed if a scheduled check-in is missed
and an employee fails to respond to the system generated reminder
• Responsible parties are alerted via email, SMS and the GeoPro Web Application
Waypoints
• Capture the GPS coordinates of locations in the fi eld, annotate and save or share with others
