The resulting solution provides the user experience and service levels for maritime applications that customers expect.

Customer Network Exchange

Intellian’s Customer Network Exchange (CNX) units are a critical component of any OneWeb user terminal installation, providing both the power and data connectivity to the Flat Panel user terminal, and the connectivity to customer equipment and networks. CNX variants are offered for specific deployment scenarios including Land Fixed, Maritime and Land Mobility.

Seamless Connectivity

The OW10HM features Intellian’s advanced tracking technology improving connection reliability and availability, even on heavy seas and at the lowest elevation angles encountered in equatorial regions. Ensuring minimal loss over scan, the innovative flat panel technology facilitates smooth reliable handovers, which ensure seamless and undisrupted connectivity.

Harsh Environment Performance

The OW10HM is designed to ensure dependable performance in even the most demanding environments, operating in extremely low temperatures down to -40 °C and up to +55 °C (-40 °F to 131 °F). Integrated radar rejection filtering ensures performance in high interference installations and reliable broadband services for customers at sea.

Simplified Installation

The lightweight design and compact form factor of the OW10HM enables easy installation by a single person. The universal mount design supports standard maritime mounts. Installation is further simplified through use of combined power and data over a single coax cable connecting the below deck CNX units. The use of Intellian’s mobile app for site survey, automated configuration, and monitoring further reduces the time required to get online.

OW10HV REQUIREMENT – Compact Panel series

Land Mobile Profile:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 The Land Mobile UTs shall support the Class B Land Mobile motion profile as defined in GVF-105

Angular Velocity:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      The Compact UT (OW10HV) shall compensate for rotational motion on each axis (roll, pitch, yaw) that does not exceed a maximum rate of 16 deg/s.

Angular Acceleration – 1
The Compact UT (OW10HV) shall compensate for angular acceleration on the roll and pitch axes that does not exceed a maximum rate of 300 deg/s/s. Refer to GVF-105 Class B land mobile motion profile for additional details.

Angular Acceleration – 2
The Compact UT (OW10HV) shall compensate for angular acceleration on the yaw axis that does not exceed a maximum rate of 100 deg/s/s.                  Refer to GVF-105 Class B land mobile motion profile for additional details.

Translational Acceleration:
The Compact UT (OW10HV) shall compensate for translational acceleration on all axes that does not exceed a maximum rate of 10 m/s/s. Refer to GVF-105 Class B land mobile motion profile for additional details.

Shock & Vibe:
The Compact UT (OW10HV) shall support COTM (Comms on the Move) operation while complying with MIL-STD-810H 514.8 vibration Procedure I, and MIL-STD-810H 516.8 shock Procedure I, and shall maintain connection in a manner that ensures the end user doesn’t perceive a pause or drop in connectivity when subjected to motion the motion profile as defined in the “Mobility Performance – Land Mobile” requirement.
