This is an original spare part.
When to Power off the Terminal
In order to save battery life, remove the power source, including any batteries, from the terminal:
When the terminal is out of satellite coverage for an extended period of time
When the terminal is removed from an asset for storage
Prior to shipping
If the terminal has been powered off it can be powered on in a number of ways:
By inserting batteries (rechargeable or non-rechargeable)
By applying external power
When the power off timer has expired
By using the activation magnet fob and following the instructions below
Hold the activation magnet fob centered on the magnet sensor for 3 seconds and then remove to power on the terminal.
Once the terminal has power, the LED emits a few short flashes.
Refer to the user manual for LED operation information and flash rates.
Note:
It is important that you hold the activation magnet fob on the target for 3 seconds and then remove it, in order to power on the terminal.
The terminal remains off if the magnet fob is in place for more than 10 seconds.

The WLAN/Wi-Fi expansion card includes the following features:

Dual SSID
Failover to WLAN client for WAN connectivity
Simultaneous access point and client mode for providing service or connection as a wireless LAN
Up to 10 simultaneous users
Each WLAN expansion card has a unique SSID that identifies it to a WLAN client device.
Any client device attempting to connect to that SSID will be asked for a Wi-Fi password.
The SSID and password are provided on a sticker that comes with each WLAN expansion card.
