The MAX9602-ENC from Maxtena is a fully packaged solution consisting of the 9602N transceiver from Iridium® with an RS232 interface SMA type RF connectors are provided for both Iridium SBD and for use of the GPS pass through port of the 9602N. The small form factor along with convenient screw mounting options allows easy integration ofthe9602N transceiver into a wide range of end user applications, including remote area communications, asset tracking and industrial control sand monitoring. Power and communication signals are brought out to a single DB15 male connector allow in greasy cable harness assembly. LED indicators provide visual feedback on the power and network status of the device. The MAX9602-ENC can be used in harsh automotive environments thanks to the in-built transient voltage protection. Designed as standalone product to add Iridium (and bring through GPS signals if desired) to you existing product lines, the MAX9602-ENC allows for easy |addition of Iridium Satellite communications in to third party products.
