Compatibility/Application: The keypad is compatible with the following FLIR thermal cameras:

The JCU-3 is a remote keypad for compatible FLIR thermal cameras.
The keypad is a class1 PoE (Power over Ethernet) device, and can be powered either using a suitable network connection providing PoE, or directly using the dedicated Alternate power connector.
The keypad interacts directly with supported thermal cameras, and does not require any other products (such as an MFD / Chartplotter) to be present in the network. The keypad can be mounted in landscape or portrait orientation.

Powerful control for the FLIR M232 and other series cameras
The JCU–3 compact remote keypad is designed to control the FLIR M232 thermal camera from a convenient location at the helm.
Two programmable user keys provide access to your favorite scenes or modes and the uni-controller enables full control of the camera’s pan and tilt functions. The JCU-3 is designed for console mounting, with mounting options for portrait and landscape orientation.
An included DC power cable provides 12-volt power, or the JCU-3 can be powered via POE (power over Ethernet) with an appropriate POE power supply.
You can install multiple JCU–3 keypads. Multiple JCU–3 keypads can control a single camera; a single JCU–3 keypad can control multiple cameras in more complex systems.

Users can enjoy intuitive touchscreen pan, tilt, and camera controls directly from their chart plotter display, with an optional joystick control unit available for dedicated operation.
When paired with a Raymarine Axiom display, M232 enhances safety with ClearCruise™ object detection.
ClearCruise object detection delivers audible and visual alerts when non-water objects—such as boats, obstacles, or markers—are identified, offering an extra set of eyes for safer night time navigation.
Chartplotter Compatible
FLIR M-Series cameras are designed to integrate seamlessly with chartplotters and multi-function display from Furuno, Garmin, Raymarine and Simrad.
View the thermal image on your chart plotter display and control the camera’s pan and tilt with your chartplotter’s touchscreen.
